I really enjoyed myself when we went to jumeriah beach with 8JN to learn about ecosystems and how we can help save it. I felt excited when I heard of the geography trip, but when I thought that I wasn't going I started to worry then, but in the end I managed to go after all and it was a real thrill, going snorkling with some of my friends, seeing sea urchins on the rocks under the water. At first I afraid that I would hurt myself (sometimes i do ),but with my friends encouraging me I did it in t…

THE GEOGRAPHY TRIP WAS BRILLIANT!.When i went on the geography trip i went scooba diving and i learnt about turtles, sharks and many other things i also cleaned up the beach. I now know the impact people have ob the ocean life just by doing their normal routine.I did a survey about the environment and I asked people that what cars they had and if they turned off the lights when they left the rooms and other things related to that, and I could clearly see that some people cared about the environm…

I learnt that every thing you do on the beach is dangerous so you have to look out at what you are doing. Also the litter on the beaches is very harmful too.
My favourite activity was snorkling because i like seeing sea life up close.

Year 8 students at Wellington International School have been studying the variety of ecosystems in the local area with an emphasis on their management and the connections between society’s behavior, attitudes and decisions and the impact they have on the ecosystems.
However students around the world are having difficulty connecting with the environment and linking their own personal daily actions and decisions to the impacts they often observe around them. Students have become disconnected with…

Coursework writing is really not a peanut as I took it in the beginning when I was assigned a college coursework. It was really tough to find coursework help, even online coursework help. But you know internet is a magical world, sooner or later you come to the right place. So did I when I started searching online coursework help. But it took a lot of time of mine to find the exact material for writing my college coursework.
It is very essential to have the correct guidelines for writing…

Congratulations to Anton, Ashling, Anthony and Saher for completing their PADI Resue Diver course!
We had a great day out on the boat. Our first destination was the Cement barge where we encountered some very strong current. We practised how to use the back board as a meathod of getting a person out of the water on to the boat. We also practised how to rescue a paniced diver from the boat and from in the water using some sort of floatation for example an inflated BCD or a life ring available on…

Whale Shark Encounters
Lima Rock
Musandam

To encounter a whale shark on a dive, is rare and special. To see two on the same day in two different dive sites is absolutely remarkable. It happened yesterday, on a trip with the students from JESS. Most members of the group o…

A recent article in a feature edition of Scientific American “Earth 3.0 Sustainable Progress” as well as one written by a friend and local conservationist grabbed my attention. They were both addressing the same problem current in society’s youth particuarly amongst developed countries, one that as a teacher of Geography and Environmental Management may help to explain an alarming trend.
In the article “Confronting Videophilia”, Patricia Zaradic discusses the disconnection young people have wit…
