Whatever floats your boat

As most of you know, the good old' Whatever Floats Your Boat' competition is coming to town and the JESS team is thinking of ideas for a boat, made out of completely recycled materials. We need to raise 10,000 DHS for the competition. The money is being raised to save turtles so it's for a great cause! In keeping with its commitment to giving back to society, employees of Microsoft Oman took part in a project to clean up Daymaniyat Islands to help preserve and protect marine wildlife and the natural richness of the coral reefs in Oman . Damaniyat Island reef clean up report

The first cleanup project at the Damaniyat Island that is sponsored by Microsoft, Tawasul and Extra divers. Damaniyat Islands is a world heritage and a UNESCO site. It is few miles off the coast of Muscat.

The Geography trip !!!

I really enjoyed myself when we went to jumeriah beach with 8JN to learn about ecosystems and how we can help save it. I felt excited when I heard of the geography trip, but when I thought that I wasn't going I started to worry then, but in the end I managed to go after all and it was a real thrill, going snorkling with some of my friends, seeing sea urchins on the rocks under the water.
